Hydrodemolition Waterloo International StationWaterloo International Terminal, London

Aquaforce was appointed by Skanska on behalf of WCA to remove between 700 and 1000mm of the 700mm deep reinforced concrete cantilever deck ends using hydrodemolition, in order to expose the existing steel reinforcement of the three parallel viaducts, which currently carries trains onto platforms 21, 22, 23 and 24 at Waterloo International Terminal.

The Witton and Bromford Viaducts carry the M6 between Junction 7 (Great Barr) and Junction 5 (Fort Dunlop). Aquaforce carried out hydrodemolition services as part of the improvement works.

Following a lorry fire under the Dunton Lane bridge on the M6 Toll, Aquaforce was mobilised quickly to provide information and advice regarding the works required to repair the damage, which included hydrodemolition to the soffit and the walls.
